Greens to Combat the Grays

Greens to Combat the Grays

Yesterday, I wrote about adding a little yellow into the clothing rotation to beat the winter humdrums.

And if a little brightness on your bod isn’t enough to liven your spirits, this post from Danielle Blundell of Apartment Therapy suggests bringing the outdoors indoors with affordable botanical prints.  They’ll not only lift your mood, but, they’re so classic, you won’t get sick of them too quickly.

“Most people, even those of us critical of mass produced art, appreciate the graphic impact these pieces make, even when they're not the real deal. Vintage bookplates or pressed botanicals are obviously ideal, but there are tons of great reproductions on the market, big and small, cheap and pricey.” -AT, Jan 25, 2018

Check out some beautiful examples she shared of people are doing this thing right:

The author mentioned that it’s worth noting how much ACTUAL greenery “helps the cause.”

At the end and throughout the piece, she gives suggestions for reasonably priced prints and ways to display them uniquely, like in this wild n’ crazy bathroom.
